Student Program
The Radar 2010 Organizing Committee invites student participation in the conference and welcomes student involvement in the radar community. Please note that students wishing to participate in the student paper competition should clearly indicate such on their abstract. This Radar Conference draws a large number of world-renowned professionals from across all aspects of the radar field. It provides students the opportunity not only to hear and see presentations of cutting edge research, but also to interact with these professionals on a personal basis to ask specific questions and to discuss professional interests and ideas. To ensure a valuable experience, the conference includes a number of programs developed specifically for students:
-
Poster presentations of student papers in a dedicated student session and a monetary award for the best student paper
-
Special 2-day (Thursday/Friday) "New to Radar" student program
-
Multiple grants awarded for student travel and registration (domestic students only due to funding restrictions)
-
Networking opportunities with presenters, other delegates, well-known industry professionals, and exhibitors
-
Discounted registration and tutorial fees
International student authors and attendees will need to register for the conference and obtain a letter of invitation stating that you have been invited to attend the conference. You should also review VISA guidelines for your country, and begin the process early in order to meet all requirements. To find out if you will need a U.S. VISA, visit the US Dept. of State web site.
