Education: Mr. Winter received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech in 1981 and an MBA from Loyola College in Baltimore in 1989.Accomplishments/Interests: Mr. Winter joined the company in 1981 and has held a number of technical and management assignments in systems development, technology research, program management, marketing and strategic planning. Currently, Mr. Winter is responsible for developing and implementing the Electronic Systems sector strategic-campaign and capture strategies. |

Throughout his 25-year career, Mr. Winter has been involved with Navy surface ship radar, missile defense systems, Future Combat Systems, the Joint Strike Fighter radar, multi-platform precision strike, weapons, electric vehicles & power systems, and computer and signal processing.Most recently, Mr. Winter has been directly involved in the successful business capture of DARPA Affordable Moving Target System Engagement (AMSTE) program, the early development of the KEI program, the initial capture coordination of the GBFR and G/ATOR ground based radar programs, the development of the multi-sponsor Cobra Judy Replacement program worth $350M, and the ongoing positioning of the CG(X) program with the potential of over $2B of sales for the sector.Mr. Winter has had direct customer and industry interface responsibilities with most defense services and agencies, as well as for European, Asian, and Australian international business pursuits. Most recently, Mr. Winter served as Director of Naval & Missile Defense. |
